What if…? (web series on Disney + Hotstar, August 11)
The Jeffrey Wright star follows the creation of the multiverse at the end of Loki’s season one finale. Directed by Bryan Andrews, the series explores the different timelines of the multiverse in which the relevant moments of the Marvel Cinematic Universe films occur in different ways.
Bhuj: the pride of India (Disney + Hotstar movie, August 13)
Star Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi is based on the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War when the IAF airstrip in Bhuj was destroyed in battle. The film, directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya, will present the pivotal moment in the restructuring of the air base, led by 300 local women from Gujarat and IAF squadron leader Vijay Karnik, who ultimately helped India win the war.
The Brooklyn Nine-Nine (Netflix web series, August 12)
The highly anticipated Andy Samberg, Andre Braugher, the star of Stephanie Beatriz will take care of the parents sleuths who balance their professional life and manage their children. Created by Dan Goor and Michael Schur, the whole season will be built around what is happening in the 99th arrondissement.
Goofy Short “Stay Home” (Disney + Hotstar movie, August 11)
Directed by Eric Goldberg, the four-part series from Walt Disney Animation Studios will shed some light on how to wear a mask, cook, over look and play for a long time, among other things.
Shershaah (film on Amazon Prime, August 12)
This biographical war action film starring Siddharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani is based on real events relating to the Kargil War of 1999. It follows the journey of the laureate of Param Vir Chakra and army captain Vikram Batra who was martyred while fighting for the homeland. The film is directed by Vishnuvardhan
EVANGELION: 3.0 + 1.01 THREE ONCE UPON A TIME (web series on Amazon Prime, August 13)
Directed by Hideaki Anno, this is the fourth and final chapter in the Japanese sci-fi animated film series in the Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise.
Modern Love – Season 2 (Amazon Prime series, August 13)
The director of John Carney has a powerful star cast of Anne Hathaway, Dev Patel, Tina Fey, Kit Harington and Anna Paquin. Inspired by the famous New York Times column of the same name, the first season of the eight-part anthology series explored love in its multitude of forms – including sexual, romantic, familial, platonic, and self-esteem. . Season two is expected to spotlight eight new and unrelated stories.
