PhoneBhoot brings a twisted comedic edge to Katrina Kaif’s role as a ghost carrying a sense of humor in the film, which feels like a fun ride involving chaos, drama and mystery. The film is produced by Excel Entertainment’s Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani.

The trailer for the goofy horror-comedy has finally been released and chronicles the lives of desi Ghostbusters played by Ishaan Khattar and Siddhant Gupta. In what appears to be a mission, the duo enter the company with ghost Katrina Kaif who wants the two to take down Aatma Ram, a weirdo played by Jackie Shroff.

The trailer also includes a fun reference from the movie Koï Mil Gayaa in a scene where Ishaan Khattar sings “Om Om Om Om”. The end of the trailer shows Katrina Kaif interacting with a ghost (played by Sheeba Chaddha), where Kaif teaches her a word, Moksh’ which the latter struggles to pronounce while making Kaif’s comment, “Tumhari Hindi weak hai ?”

PhoneBhoot is written by Ravi Shankaran and Jasvinder Singh Bath. Directed by Gurmmeet Singh, the film also features Sheeba Chaddha, Jackie Shroff, Nidhi Bisht, Manu Rishi Chadha, Manuj Sharma, Kedar Shankar, Shrikant Verma, and Surendra Thakur as cast members. The film will hit theaters on November 4.

The trio, who also share a great off-screen camaraderie, appeared in the final season of Coffee with Karan earlier this year and talked about their close friendship and the fun they had while filming the movie. Kaif was last seen in the film Sooryavanshi opposite Akshay Kumar, while Gupta played a pivotal role in the critically acclaimed film Gehraiyaan.
