Long Island bestselling author Nelson DeMille has released his latest novel, The labyrinthOctober 11.
The labyrinth is the eighth book in DeMille’s series of novels following the fictional protagonist, NYPD Homicide Detective John Corey. The stories are based on the real, unsolved Gilgo Beach murders on Long Island.

DeMille grew up on Long Island and graduated from Elmont Memorial High School, then attended Hofstra University. After three years in college, he enlisted in the army and served as a lieutenant from 1966 to 1969. The Vietnam veteran returned to Hofstra and earned his bachelor’s degree in political science and history.
DeMille has published her first novel, the sniper, in 1974. His first novel by John Corey, Plum Islandwas released in 1997 and was number 1 New York Times Bestseller. In total, he has 21 bestselling novels.
