New Details Explain Ms. Marvel Post-Credit Scene Mystery

New details revealed about Wonders explained Ms. MarvelThe confusing post-credits scene. As part of the Marvel Studios panel at D23 Expo, new images of Wonders features the three female leads who find themselves physically switching places when they use their respective powers, which is exactly what happened to Kamala Khan in the final moments of Ms. Marvel.

Although there is still much to reveal about Wonders, the little details revealed today have begun to paint a picture of what brings Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers, Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau and Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan together, with the three heroines seemingly unable to control what happens to them in the film . The short clip also featured Monica Rambeau communicating with Nick Fury in space, which connects both the post-credit scene of Spider-Man: Far From Homeand the next Secret Invasion series, then swap places with Kamala, who was seen swapping with Carol in the Ms. Marvel post-credits scene.

There are still a number of Marvel projects to release before Wonders hits cinemas next summer, after swapping release dates with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniabut it looks like a lot of other recent movies Wonders will take place around the same timescale as the Phase 4 movies. Over the next year, the Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline is roughly locked in 2024, directly following the Blip, and with all the indicators suggesting that The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars will be directly linked to the first films of phase 5, Wonders will be another piece of the great multiverse puzzle created by Marvel Studios.

Marvels are so much more than Captain Marvel 2

When first announced, the next Wonders was simply known as Captain Marvel 2, but as more details have been revealed, it’s become clear why the movie doesn’t even carry the Captain Marvel rubric anymore. While many recent MCU sequels such as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Thor: Love and Thunder and the next Black Panther: Wakanda Still focused on one particular Marvel hero, Wonders looks set to give its three female leads equal screen time.

Furthermore, Wonders is about to join the group led by Samuel L. Jackson Secret Invasion, WandaVision, Ms. Marvel and potentially a number of other recent Marvel projects, making this a much more involved and pivotal cosmic adventure that could have many connotations for the future of the MCU. Of course, all the emphasis is now on the Multiverse Sagawhich we already know will end in phase 6, but beyond that there will be some sort of payoff for the intergalactic story that will unfold in Eternals, which deals with the same type of off-world threats that Captain Marvel is a part of.

Even if it will be necessary to wait a few months before knowing more about WondersKevin Feige has made sure that there are plenty of other projects to keep everyone busy while waiting both at the cinema and on Disney+.
